Adani Enterprises reported a 44% YoY rise in Q1 profit, driven by a strong performance in its new energy sector, which saw earnings jump seven-fold to INR 3.55bn ($47.5m). This growth countered the impact of a 5% rise in earnings from its core coal business in which lower coal prices and volumes impacted earnings for Q1 2021.
