Michael Burry's Scion Asset Management bought bearish put options against the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indexes, according to the second-quarter regulatory filings released on Monday. The fund invested $739m in Invesco QQQ Trust ETF put options and $886m in SPDR S&P 500 ETF put options, conveying a right to sell shares at a fixed price and conveying a bearish opinion.
